Frequently Asked Questions About the Be Conference
- Who is the Be Conference for?
The Be Conference is open to anyone in professional or lay ministry who is passionate about outreach, discipleship, and worship. It is not limited to people who have gone on AIM trips.
- How long is it?
It lasts one day, from 8:30am to 4pm.
- How much does it cost?
The Be Conference is free for anyone, but you have to apply before arriving. A $50 deposit is required for all individuals or groups attending that are not signed up for a mission project with The Edge (a ministry of Adventures In Missions). The deposit will be refunded upon registration at the conference. Spaces are limited, and once a location fills up, we may not be able to add more attendees.
- Will I have to do anything in exchange for this free missions conference?
No. You are not required to do anything. We will follow up afterwards to get your feedback on the conference and we will give you the opportunity to find more about AIM. You may opt-out of any email or calling list at any time and we will never spam you or give away your contact information.
- Will there be food?
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by AIM. Participants are responsible for their own lodging and travel.
- How do people apply?
Fill out the form on the Application page.
- Are there keynote speakers? Who are they?
No. Depending on location, certain AIM staff (or others) may attend and share an encouragement for the church, but it's more of a roundtable of discussion, exhortation, and leadership.
