Translators Qualifications
Return to Spanish Translators Home Page

  1. First of all, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  2. You must send us a written recommendation (letter) from your pastor.

  3. Obviously you must be fluent in both English and Spanish. This does not mean that you have to be able to past a grammar test in both languages. It basically means that you have a good handle on both languages. In other words, you can communicate in both languages without any mayor problems. Someone on the AIM staff will interview you over the phone or in person to make sure that are fluent enough to serve on a project.

  4. You will fill out an application and we will evaluate it.

  5. Once you are approved, we will give you a Translators Manual that will help you prepare for your missions project.

  6. If approved to serve with us you will need to raise your prayer support and your travel expenses.

  7. An AIM staff person will contact you and assign you to a certain project location/s.
